What should two 7yo’s do for a Valentines Day “date”?
My daughter told me yesterday that she and her “boyfriend” had a “date” planned for Valentines Day morning. The planning, of course, has been left up to me. Any ideas? Something adult friendly, since both his mom and I will be there.

Take them to a place like Chuck E. Cheese for lunch and a time with the games.

How about going for ice cream or pizza? Or going to a family-friendly movie? Bowling?

I’d tell my daughter that she isn’t going to “date” until she’s 15 and she can see her “boyfriend” at school.
And Valentine’s Day morning is a Sunday, so I’d also tell her that her “boyfriend” can meet us at church if he wants to.

I agree, church and lunch in a fun place is suitable for 7 year olds. I had this question a couple years ago with my son, and what he decided to do was make her a pic nic and meet at the park.

Well, since it is for the morning, Breakfast (maybe brunch) and a movie. Either take the kids out for breakfast/brunch or serve it at home and then pop out to see a movie w/them, how about Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel?

Maybe they can make valentine’s for each other, watch a sappy kid’s movie (like Lady and the Tramp), and eat some pizza. I would call it a playdate though and not a date…
