How accurate is the ear lobe test when it comes to a newborns skin color?

I am a white woman and my babys father is a light skinned 1/2 Dominican and 1/2 Puerto Rican. My son seems to be awful white to be a Hispanic, ya know? I was wondering how accurate the ear lobe test is?

IF YOU ARE REFERRING TO THE TIP OF THE EARLOBE BEING DARKER THAN THE REST OF THE BABY (PPL ALSO USE THE EDGES AROUND THE CUTICLES OF THE FINGERNAILS….. I WOULD HAVE TO SAY ITS NOT VERY ACCURATE….. IVE SEEN IT, MY SISTERS BABY HAD REALLY DARK EAR LOBES AND SHE IS FAIR SKINNED…..

There are plenty of Spanish people (and I’m sure other Hispanic people) that have light skin, light eyes, and even blond hair…
