I need some ideas for some songs to play during my wedding ceremony and reception.?
During the ceremony I want country music, but during the reception it doesn’t matter what it is, just want it to be fun. I need:
-parents and grandparents walk out to
-groomsman walk out to
-bridesmaids walk out to
-after ceremony, all of us leave to
-cake cutting
-flower toss
-garter toss
-first dance for me and my new husband
-dance for husband and his mom
What else do I need music for? Thanks!

What I did was only have specific songs for the garter toss, flower toss, first dance for new couple, mom/son and dad/daughter. All the other stuff was big band/swing music. Then you get a variety for everyone to listen to, but yet if they don’t like it, its their hard luck. Or here are some suggestions:
flower toss-?
garter toss-Another One Bites the Dust-Queen
First Dance Hubby and Wife-To Make You Feel My Love-Garth Brooks
Dance for Hubby and his Mom-I Hope You Dance-LeAnn Womack
Cake Cutting-I Want Candy-Bow Wow Wow

I would really appreciate that. And I hope the two of you have an extraordinarily great wedding and years of loved bliss and happiness in your future.

If you have specific songs that are important to you, then use them. Otherwise, this is something your DJ should work out. If you hired a good one, they have tons of experience, have an extensive library and can cover any needs. If not, you may be in trouble already! Advice: Be original. These lists are the same old garbage that EVERYONE plays at weddings. It’s the same old procedure: Entry. Eat. Speech. Dance. Garter. Bouquet. Exit. BORING. Take a little time to devise some different and unique ideas so you’re not just “Bride #37 for this year”.

You actually covered several interesting points here. I came across this by using Google and I have to admit that I am currently subscribed to the site, it is extremely decent 😀
