What are some tips I can give my brother for his teenage years?

My brother is turning 13, so in his birthday card I thought I’d make a list of tips to help him through the teen years. I’d like some to be funny and some to be serious. Any ideas?

    Girls are not worth it.
    They are worth it.
But only when you are ready.
Don’t get a girlfriend just to have a girlfriend.
    Love and respect her.

haha that’s just a lot of serious ones..

Well that’s all i can think of now 🙂

Treat every girl with the same respect he would show his mother or sister.

If you wouldn’t want your parents to see what you are doing, then you probably shouldn’t be doing it.

Hiding your Playboy magazine under the mattress is a bad idea. Mom changes the sheets on the bed.

Avoid drugs and alcohol, and if he’s not gonna wait until he’s married to have sex, to use protection and be careful about whoever he has sex with. He doesn’t need an unwanted pregnancy or an STD.
