maybe he just isnt’ hungry.. kids don’t eat when they aren’t hungry

but if you think he is teething, put a wet wash cloth in the freezer and get it cold and then let him chew on it. that will numb his teeth with out making them harder to teeth thru.. and then maybe he’ll start eating again. and give him tylenol for the pain.

My 9 month old did this. I thought is was from teething as a lot of people say their babies refuse to eat for a couple of days when they are teething but it turned out my baby had a bacterial virus. Is he acting the same as always in other ways? If so, it’s probably teething. Keep trying but don’t force it…dont’ worry, he won’t starve…he’ll fill up on breastmilk or formula. Good luck.

We are going through this same thing with my 11 month old. He is cutting another tooth, and has been refusing to eat any solids for the past few days. At first I was worried, until I realized he had another tooth coming in, the gum was a little swollen and sore looking. He has been on bottles for the last few days, this way I know he is still getting nutrition. I wouldn’t worry too much unless it last longer then a week or two.
