How long does it take liquid to travel through a toddlers body?

I want to start potty training my son and I want to get an idea on how long it takes for liquid to travel through his body. If age matters he is 18 months, 32 in., and 25 lbs.

Thanks.

Oh my lolz. It’s not something you can quantify; it depends on all sorts of factors.

    An overview: http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/pubs/yrdd/

Even if there was a “Pour water into 25lb toddler at noon, expect pee by 2:17” metric, it would not be useful information for training anybody but yourself…

18 months is a little early to start training your little boy, he is only ready to be trained when he is able to tell you he needs the toilet!

I go by every hour with my son and it seems to be working…just started it! Don’t rush your son..HE needs to be ready and at 18 mos, you need to be sure or it could backfire on you!
