What is a good alternative for a bachelorette party?

My friend is getting married and I am planning the bachelorette party, but she is pregnant and can’t drink or go out to a bar. What are some alternatives? I’ve heard of shoe parties and stuff like that. Any ideas? Help!

Hmmm, how about a “tea party”. We have a tea room where I live & I always thought that would be so cool. Take her back to being a little girl again : )

Have a Spa Party! Get manicures, pedicures, massages, and facials. She’ll enjoy doing something relaxing! You could have appetizers, fruit, and desserts. It will be fun!

I agree with the above answers, a spa trip would be great. I think so anyway. I’m pregnant and I think that’d be wonderful, fun, and relaxing. =)

Sleep over party! Rent movies that all have a wedding theme, give her a pedi and mani yourselves (I am sure she would love having her prego toes pampered) and eat lots of junk food. 🙂

I’m getting married soon and my MOH asked me to make a list of things that I would love to do for my bachelorette party. One of my ideas was a theme party. Like a 60s party, pj party, princess, etc… You can even have your own spa party like when you where little everyone get do each others hair and makeup. Do things you wouldn’t normally do with the boys around….

Elegant dinner and booking a luxurious suite in a hotel for a girls night. Having a dessert bar and drinks in the room.

Sleepover. Rent lots of movies, play games..
When I was younger I had a MaryKay party.. we got a Mary Kay consultant to come out and give us makeovers and do our nails and we tried a lot of new products.

I am having a spa party, but I’ve heard of people doing Makeover parties, having a makeup artist come over. If you contact a “Mary Kay” type company they will do it for free.

How about a pamper party, or a bridal shower and go all High Tea with the pretty napery and china and fancy cakes.

You can go to one of these new paint your own bisque places. They are popping up everywhere. The one here is called All Fired Up but I know there are many different names. Everyone could do a coffee mug. After they paint it, it gets left there to be fired and picked up in a week or so.

all of our friends and the two of us are going to get together and have like a bon fire type thing….no alcohol, no strippers, nothing that could make a night go bad
