What happens if I exceed my tv’s supported resolutions on VGA input?
I just bought a Proscan LED TV and I noticed that the supported resolutions for a VGA input max out at 1024×768. Yet my laptop can output 1400×1050 which fills up my tv and the output is clearer. Does anyone know if this will mess up my tv if I am exceeding the supported resolution. Just want to know that this will not break my tv.

No the Tv will not break. Assuming it can actually accept 1400×1050 , it simply downscales/upsacles it to its native resolution.
I would try 1366×768; 1400×1050 is a very strange aspect ratio.

LED- it also uses lcd dispaly but with LED lighting which gives better defination and colour quality . use it for your tv channels or blu-ray discs doesn’t matter. Led’s are extrememly thin, better picture than both plasma and lcd, extrememly energy efficient. You will get a number of sites providing valuable information. Have a look on
