Valentines date? Boyfriend or boy friend?

is it wrong for me to go out to dinner with my
boy friend instead of my boyfriend. my boyfriend is being a total ass about me not wanting to have his child so my boy freind stepped in to cheer me up and he is the sweetest guy ever. what do i do or say to make everyone happy?
