This a good valentines day idea?
Okay so the girl that I’m in love with goes to another school. Her and i still talk and the feeling is mutual, so she says lol. Since i wont see her at school, should i mail something to her house? I know her mom and all, so it won’t look bad. I just don’t want to come off as cheap? And I’m 16 if that has any influence on the answer you give.

This is why I hate Valentine’s day. “I just don’t want to come off as cheap”, Honestly, that’s all Valentine’s day is about, spending money on people. It seems like you’re just giving her a gift because it’s what society says you have to do, not because you care about her. If you want to get her a gift, that’s great, but make sure you’re doing it for the right reasons.
Also, I think it means more if you give it to her in person. Just because you don’t see her at school, doesn’t mean you don’t see her, does it. Make plans to go to a movie or dinner or something and give her the present then. It doesn’t have to be expensive, just like McDonalds or something. Just try and take a long, hard look at your reasons for giving her a gift and then try to pick out something meaningful that she’ll love. Or make something if that’s your thing.
