So I have my FIRST ultrasouns today at 21 weeks + and I’m hoping to find out the gender?
Do they usually tell you and do you get to see the screen when they do it?

They ask first and yes you get to see. Generally the tech freezes the shot and writes either boy or girl! And mine printed it out for us too!

The first put some jelly on your belly and press down which I dont like cuz first you have to drink like 8 cups of water and the pressure doesnt help. Any whoo they will check the baby heartbeat,organs,brain waves,size,weight, and if the baby doesnt have its legs crossed they will be able to tell the sex of the baby. Ask 4 a picture.

Yes. If they can tell they will announce it if you tell them you want to know. I got to look at the screen the entire time they were taking measurements of everything. The woman was very informative, letting me know what she was looking for and if she found it!!

they’ll ask you if you want to know and if you say yes then they tell you and i did get to see the screen with my ultrasound

They should be able to determine the sex and also they should be able to do the scan without your bladder being full. If nothing else, they can do an internal ultrasound by placing a probe in your vagina. There will be a screen for you to watch the ultrasound and if you have a good tech, he/she should be able to determine the sex. Good Luck.

I wouldn’t wait 2 1/2 hours, you can pee now and then like an 1hour before the test hold it if you can, youwon’t be able to enjoy it because your bladder will be so full and they press on your belly so its going to be very uncomfortable so go pee now. They should be able to tell the gener now as long as the baby is in position to do it, and usually they show you the screen and tell you what each part is. enjoy
