My husband bought me an elliptical for valentines day, bad idea? Everyone is giving him crap about it?
So ive wanted an elliptical machine for some time now but never wanted to spend the money. So my husband went out a few nights ago and bought me an elliptical and said happy early v-day! Since this thing was on sale he thought he would buy it now. Well everyone has been giving him crap saying how degrading of a gift that is! Its not like im overweight, i just really wanted one! He feels bad, do you think thats really that bad of a gift to get for valentines day?

Since you specifically said you wanted one it is an excellent gift. Everyone else can go take a flying leap.

You said you always wanted one, so what’s the problem? Jeez, he was just getting what you wanted. I want a gym membership for V-day and if I get one that will be what I wanted.

Who cares what the critic’s section has to say….you wanted one and he got it for you; case closed.

Are you certain that you can’t even accept getting something you wanted? You are more concerned with what other people tell you you shlould think.

Don’t listen to what other people have to say about your Valentine’s Day gift. All that matters is how YOU feel about it. I think its a wonderful expression of his love for you, though. And at least you know he’s listening when you’re talking.

No, I don’t think it’s a bad gift, nor is it degrading. People are way too sensitive about weight these days. If you’re fat, you know you’re fat if you own a mirror. So what. If you’re thin, you know you’re thin if you own a mirror. So what. Tell people to mind their own business.

That’s what you wanted so no it’s not a bad gift.

No problem, now you can still eat bom boms and work them off.
WHo cares what anybody says, if you like it then lets move on.

No! Not if you wanted it! It’s better than boring chocolates or flowers, anyone will like them! But your husband new that you wanted that! I think it’s really sweet. 🙂 and the people who are giving him crap are just jealous because they no there not going to get what they really want! 🙂
