Why would you want to do that?
If you go to the fridge, take out the milk…tastes it and it’s spoiled…do you put it back in the fridge, wait a month, then try tasting it again to see if it tastes better? Of course you don’t.

I think it means she doesn’t want to be with you right now. Maybe she is trying to figure out some things on her own first. You can’t get her to see you as her boyfriend again until she decides first what she wants. So you may want to grieve the loss and move on with your life.

Resume your former attitudes, attentions. Invite her to a cafe, drink or pizza and have a talk together in a peaceful surrounding. BUT don’t insist too much on starting to go out with her again so that she may not be scared of it. But I guess it should work out since you write she is open to another chance. this means that she still likes u…..she broke up with u mainly because u broke the trust that she had in u…..try telling her sorry for any wrong doings if it had happened from ur part……life is a lot about sacrifices…….tell her i was not in my sorts that time for whatever reason that she broke up with u…..as she told that she wants to give it another chance…..she still wants to come back and hold ur hand and feel hat love again….but try rectifying any wrongdoings from ur part….that is the essence of love….and if still she cant understand u…..better leave her

******that she has basically lost interest in you and she has moved on with her life…. She sounds as if she has maybe put her interest into someone else but she didn’t want to come right out and tell you that, so she said she only sees you as a friend, and MAYBE in the future she MIGHT give it another chance…
More than likely she wont IF she dont see you as anything BUT a friend NOW she will never see you as anything MORE in the future. She just didnt want to hurt your feelings. How is you guys being APART and EX’s going to HELP her feelings for you to grow, It wont help and her feelings WONT grow… the only thing bond to happen is that you guys will grow APART and go on with your lives in separate directions. You can never get her back if HER heart is not in it. If its NOT something that she WANTS to do as well you can just hang it up because you can never and I repeat NEVER FORCE ANYONE TO BE WITH YOU… and the MORE you try to force it on the person the MORE you are going push that person away and make them resent you in the long run….
If she really likes you and wants to be with you then she will do just that but if she is not feeling you and if she doesnt want to be with you then there is nothing you can do but let her go and move on………

Sorry to say bud, but it sounds like she doesn’t know what she wants Its not fair to keep you tagging along in the hope that one day she might change her mind.
Cut all ties with each other and find someone else.
She is an ex for a reason. Sorry but move on…
I’ve been in this situation myself a few years ago and you’re are better off going your separate ways that way neither one of you will get hurt when someone new comes along.
