Tell him you want just one last chance. Tell him how much you love him and how much miss him. Also, try hanging out with him as friends for awhile, then maybe a movie, next time go out for dinner. And hopefully he will realize how much he misses you as his girl friend. If it doesn’t work, he isn;t good enough for you.

I’m in your same situation.
But my ex has a girlfriend now of 5 months, and has forgotten all about me.
I cheated on him.
I guess its true you don’t know what you have until it’s gone, so don’t take it for granted.
If he says he doesn’t want to go back out with you, don’t annoy him, just leave him be.
My advice would be to try to move on..
I know it’s hard, believe me, I’ve tried,
but maybe it’s just not time for you and him to be together in this chapter of your life.
If you love someone, let them go; If they return, they’re yours forever.

Hi,
I spent nine years apart from my ex and have always loved her. She didn’t want to get back with me either until I consulted the advice of an expert.
Don’t worry I was in your same shoes and getting back is just the matter of the right advice. Are you going to listen to an expert or someone just giving you some generic answer like an ex is an ex for a reason.
