How can I become a paid caregiver for my dad?
I am my dads primary caregiver. I am unemployed and he is 94 on a fixed limited income. We basically make it with the help of churches and food kitchens.

Go to you department of health and become an individual provide thery pay about 10-12 in my state per hour and provide benefits. It takes a week after you get you background check and I get paid once a month on the 5th. Hope this helps :>

I’d call welfare and the hospitals and see if there are any home health organizations listed in your phone book and ask them if they can give you the names of some organizations that will pay you for home care.
Where I live there’s an organization called DOORS that pays relatives to care for folks by the hour. I’m thinking you only get paid every 2 weeks and it takes a month to get the first check but at least you have something to look forward to.
