Yes you can. I did. And consequently didn’t know I was pregnant til I was 17 weeks along and my boobs suddenly grew! I did have what seemed like the world’s shortest pregnancy though. Your friend should take a pregnancy test. At home or even for free at Planned Parenthood.

Yes, it is possible. Your friend should take a pregnancy test or see her doctor.

Definitely not a period – but sometimes there can be bleeding for other reasons.

Any bleeding in pregnancy should be checked out immediately by your health carer.

you can but it is very rare. My sister-in-law had a full period for the first two months and then spotting around her period time for three months during her pregnancy. I would just have her take a test if it is positive, make an appointment, it could be a false positive. Also try using different brands of test, take two. Good Luck

you can not have a period while you are pregnant. when most women are pregnant and they think that they had a period they really didn’t, they probably had a miscarriage.

I spent a good part of my first trimester of my first pregnancy bleeding. I spent the second trimester in bed. I had a wonderful son at term.

If you are bleeding and have have had a positive pregnancy test, call your doctor. He/she may want to see you or he/she may just tell you to take it easy until the bleeding resolves one way or another.

Yes— but its really unlikely. Light bleeding is not unheard of, but having a full period is unusual but there are medical reasons for that too.

Here are 5 common signs of early pregnancy. You may experience all, some or none of these symptoms.

A Missed Period. Missing your period is the most clear-cut sign of pregnancy. But it is not definitive, as stress or other factors may cause irregular periods.
Frequent Trips to the Bathroom. Even before missing a period, most pregnant women report having to go to the bathroom more often. You may even have to get up during the night! This occurs after the embryo has implanted in the uterus and begins producing the pregnancy hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). This hormone triggers frequent urination.
Fatigue. Utter exhaustion is a very early sign of pregnancy. Fatigue is a result of high levels of the hormone progesterone.
Morning (and Noon and Night!) Sickness. Guess what? That queasy feeling isn’t limited to mornings. Most pregnant women who experience morning sickness feel slightly nauseated at other times during the day as well. About half have vomiting, but very few have severe enough morning sickness to develop dehydration and malnutrition.
Sore (and Enlarged) Breasts. If you’re pregnant, your breasts will probably become increasingly tender to the touch, similar to the way they feel before your period, only more so. Once your body grows accustomed to the increase in hormones, the pain will subside.
If you have any of the above symptoms, consider taking a pregnancy test as soon as possible

Yes you can in the 1st stages of pregnancy but your friend should see a Doctor in case she is having a miscarriage.

If she is having her periods then she is not pregnant

  27. beautafly1985 said :

Yes you can. She may be spotting which is perfectly normal. If it last more than a week you want to definately consult a doctor. If it gets too heavy than she’s in jeopardy of losing the baby. When you spot it’s because your body is still rejecting impurities that may disrupt the health of the baby. So it’s normal for the body to release these through menstruation. It should never last more than a week.

The only kind of ‘period’ that you can have when your definitely pregnant is spotting. If your friend is having cramping and heavy bleeding that she would usually experience before she got pregnant then tell her to get to the hospital ASAP! But if it is light bleeding like spotting than see your doctor soon. If there is any kind of cramping with the bleeding go to the hospital, do not joke around, joking and waiting around for it to get better will only put her and her unborn child at great risk.

Absolutely! My mother was 6mos.pregnant with me before she went to the doctor, and only because she kept feeling a little”fluttering” in her stomach. She told me that her, my dad, and the rest of the family were taking vacation to Fla.one summer. So she had made several new outfits for herself, and as they were on vacation, the waist in her outfits were getting a little snug.My mom is a very petite lady, and she wasn’t eating any more than she usually did.And her cycles were as regular as always,so when they got back home she went to the doctor, and after a few tests was informed she “was with child”! The last pregnancy had been my sister 7yrs earlier,so she had,she hoped 3mos. to prepare for a new baby.My sister had been 3mos premature. But everything went well with her pregnancy, and I was actually a little late.So just because she’s still having her period, she could be pregnant. She should get to the doctor, just to make sure everything is alright.Hope that helps, and God bless.
