What would make a good father’s day gift for my husband?

I want to make father’s day special for my hubby. We have 2 young babies so they don’t understand yet,but I still want to make this day special for him. He is into video games, electronics, music, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should get him and do for him on Father’s Day?

When my kids were little (we have 5), I took some pictures of them with my husband and then put them in an 8×8 album with a note on each page about why he’s such a great dad. Our kids are now 18, 16, 15, 14, and 10, and he says that the album is his all-time favorite Father’s Day gift. The best part was that I worked on it when he wasn’t home, so he had no idea that I was doing it.

Are the babies too young to finger paint something for your husband? Even a fingerprint on a card from each child with a little note from you. A nice dinner, and good music are always a winner.

If you can afford it — get him a red iPod with the words “We love you, dad” or something like that engraved on the back. Red is really loveydovey and it’s not girly either, but you can give him black. however, red imo is the best.

    xx

PS. have the kids make a couple of cards with finger paint. or make a scrapbook or something of the sort. OR. get him a plain white tie and get your kids round and make them fingerprint all over it. on the back, write a small message like “we love you daddy! xoxo (yourname) and your little ones (their names)”

Go to a tee-shirt shop. Get his favorite band decal on one but substitute the kids faces for the actual “rockers”.

A personalised canvas print with the dad and kids would go a long way. When the kids eventually grow up, they’ll also admire it.

For a unique idea for Fathers Day, why not consider a personalized Photo Puzzle Made from your husband’s favorite picture. You can choose any photo you want that has meaning for him such as a photo of the family, his favorite sports team, or anything else that he likes.

You can also take the idea further and make a photo collage puzzle from a number of photos. This is a great way to make a “this is your life” photo collage puzzle that highlights the important moments in his life making a very personal and unique gift. Once he has it completed, it can be framed and put on the wall as a great keepsake.
