   Try the book “Iron John” by Robert Bly…interesting look at men, their relationships, their energy in the world…very intellectual, emotional and spiritual.

   Also, a fun game called Table Topics (don’t get the couple’s version). It has hundreds of thought provoking questions to ask each other, people at dinner, etc. Very interesting and a great chance to get to know how his mind works in a very intimate (not to be read as sexy) way.

   Or perhaps a unique piece of home decor from an area of the world he has expressed an interest in seeing. It would say that you are paying attention to what he likes and he could display it and think of you.

   Get him/her a gift certificate to Bath Junkie. That place allows you to make your own “customized” scent either in lotion, oil or soap fashion.
