what is a semi date for Valentines Day?
My exgirlfriend and I dated for four months. Now we are just friends because she says that she is not attracted to me. I really like her alot and we talk about it alot yet my affections are never returned. She knows exactly how i feel and how im hurting because i want her to want me. I know she needs my friendship because she always wants to hang out and she says things Like ” I don’t know what i would do without you” I’m really hurting because i really want her to want me.I have been holding on because i know she needs me and I really like her. I know she is not interested in dating anyone or getting involved with anyone so that makes it easier but the thing is she still does not want me.I brought up Valentines Day and she said “oh what are we doing”, and I said i don’t know but we are only hanging out as friends right? (we are very blunt with each other, i basically say whatever i feel) and then she said well, its a semi date.. what does that mean? Is she just trying to be nice? and why does she want to spend so much time with me?
btw, i asked her what a semi date is? and she said said well we’ll hang out and have a good time. She’s butch and I’m femme. Thanks to anyone who answers this!

To me it sounds like she meant “it’s a date.”
You know, like people go “it’s a date,” except you two are just friends, so it’s a semi date. As in you’ll be hanging out as friends.
I’m not sure if that makes sense, I don’t really know how to put it.
If you two are so open with each other though, why don’t you just ask her?
By the way, hope you feel better. I know it hurts, I’m kinda in the same place as you. Things’ll improve though. 🙂
