What are some things you usually talk about when you first start dating someone?
I run out of things to say because my memory is poor so I forget my life experiences for some reason. I am not as up on current events as I used to be, so I can’t talk about that too much. What I do is kid around on my dates and eventually I run out of things to kid around about. What do you usually talk about when you first start dating someone? I’m ready to go out on the 6th date with someone I really like & I’m really worried I’ll run out of things to say. Thx!

Silence builds fences for wisdom.
Don’t be afraid of having nothing to say, sometimes silence can say a lot! Allow things to unfold as they will. Constantly trying to come up with something to “break the silence” can take you out of the moment- you begin thinking more and more and not really putting your attention on your date!
Allow yourself to experience the moment without the anxiety of constantly having to verbally communicate. You can tell oceans about a person by the way they handle moments without verbal communication (remember, communication is always happening, no matter if you’re moving your mouth or not!)

Ask them about themselves, their childhood, their funny stories, their memories. I never get tired of hearing about my husband’s funny & crazy childhood stories, such as when he saw a UFO outside his window, lol, or when he saved his sister from an earthquake..
Ask him about his passions and hobbies, his goals and dreams.
