Just a thought but maybe a really nice card with a very nice gift card — this might give an incentive to get well and go shopping.

Well, if it was me, I’d go with something simple. If you have a picture of you and the person, send that with a card. Write a letter on it saying how much you miss them and what-not. Be creative and sentimental. That’s just me though…
