Outfit idea for my valentines dinner date?
Outfit idea for my valentines dinner date?
OK so my boyfriend and I have been dating for almost two years and he is taking me out for a fancy dinner on valentines day.
He plans to wear khakis and a nice button down but I don’t know what would be the female equivalent to that.
He advised no jeans, and unfortunately I don’t know where we are going, so I’m completely lost.
Would someone please detail out a nice outfit that I could wear or link me to a website with ideas.
More info:
I am 17 and 5 feet 4 inches and 120 pounds roughly. Dark brown hair, semi-tan and brown eyes So what might you think would work with that body type?

Red Dress always works.
Maybe a white collar shirt and a red mini depending on the weather.
Or a nice white shirt and red tights and boots prehaps

A decent dress sounds good to me, but not too aggressive on your benefits, just to underline your personality. Weather dependent and where in the world you are, a summer dress seems to be quite nice. Alternatively a skirt with a nice blouse could do also.
Have a great time.

I know the perfect outfit for this occasion as I had a very similar problem on new years eve. You want to choose a dress that will work in both a more upscale environment as well as one that will work in a more casual environment.
Go for a simple brown dress, match it with patterned leggings and a pair of knee high leather dress boots. That kind of outfit would work whether you are at a nice restaurant or at a movie theater with friends.
Here is an example of such a dress

There you go, an outfit that can be dressy or nice casual yet very chic.
He should now be putty in your hands.
Have fun on Valentines!
