Is it safe to get pregnant right after getting Mirena removed?
My husband and I are thinking about having another child. I have had Mirena for almost 2 years, but think we would like to have another child in a year or so. Would it be safe to start trying immediately after getting it removed? Just curious, there is still a lot of planning to do.

Yes. It’s totally fine. Most women regain fertility within the first month.

I just had mine removed this month on the 7th and I have been researching about the same thing. There is a possibility that if you get pregnant the first month it could end up being a chemical pregnancy. So if you do get it removed try and wait 2 months so that the lining of your uterus can thicken up some. I wish you all the luck.
