is it lame to buy my boyfriend a card and a box of chocolates for valentine’s day?

He’s 19 and I have no idea what to get but I guess chocolate just sounds kinda stupid to me.

Get a gift card. It’s not stupid it’s the thought that counts. 🙂

Give him a card that says “kiss me” on it. No chocolates, or if you do get chocolates say something witty like “I got these for myself… I mean, you! Let’s share, haha. Kiss me.”

Nope, he’ll appreciate anything you get him. I might make a card instead of buy one though, personal touch.

One cute thing that they have out at Valentine’s is those cute HUGE Hershey’s kisses. They are cute, chocolate, and get the point across. A funny thing to go with them (and they don’t have to be sexy) would be a pair of Valentine boxer shorts, and, of course, a card. Sometimes we girls get really hung up on Valentine’s Day. If you got him a $50 gift card, for example, and he got you a $3.98 Hallmark card, he would be embarassed and you would be hurt. This way, your gift is sweet (chocolate), sentimental (card) and funny (the boxer shorts).

Yeah that’s pretty lame considering there’s so many…better… alternatives (if you know what I mean). Just give him a gift card. Guys don’t care much about that stuff. Maybe cooking for him is a good thought. Guys love that.

    Of course not.

Get together a bundle of your cute picutures and design an e-Card with sweet sayings to send him via email/msn or print out directly.

There is some tools for you to design the Valentine E-card for your honey. It provide many different styles and templates, you can assemble the still photos into an artistic compilation! Also, you can also show different feeling with different pic order.
