No it isn’t! I’d be really upset if my boyfriend got me a gift card for Valentines, even a birthday. It’s effortless and that’s the problem with it. You need to get her something that she knows you spent time on.
Okay lets say you get her a little something you know she’ll like that didn’t cost a lot but it’s cute and you took your time to find it or make it. Then, you can fill in the amount of money you spent with a gift card.
Sorry but I’d be upset with a gift card or cash. You need to put more time into it.

Yes it is, especially if you aren’t sure what she’d like. It’s better than getting nothing! (my bf didn’t get me anything for christmas cuz he claims i’m so picky)
Just get like a little teddy bear, or card with a single red rose and put the gift card in the card. I am sure she will appreciate it very much!

yes but get her one to a spa or something like that… not to a clothing store, cause she will probably be like “wow he wants me to get new clothes, or he doesn’t like the ones i have.”
