i want to go see valentines day tomorrow…no date…is that lame?

i have no date for tomorrow…not even friends that want to go because all of them have dates…is it lame to go see a movie about valentines day, on valentines day with no date?

and would it be easier if i went earlier in the day? most people have dates at night!

You might feel a bit awkard if your paranoid of being judged.
But you shouldn’t care what other people think so go for it.

i really wanna see that too!

screw it! go have fun! make sure to sneak in some yummy candy for you to enjoy too (movie candy is way too $$$).

as far as the time of day– go whenever you feel more comfortable. plus, if you go during the day time, it will be a little cheaper, so that’s a plus.

    have fun– happy valentine’s day!

I’m going to see it alone tomorrow too! I have a bf but he doesn’t want to see it.

I go see movies alone a lot now.

It started because when I first moved in with my bf, if we would fight I felt like I just didn’t have a place to get away for a while, so I started going to see a movie. It was perfect because it took my mind off it for 2 hours and he couldn’t call me!

I honestly don’t think I even get weird looks when I’m getting my ticket or candy or anything. The only time I feel weird is when people are sitting down and they look at my row to see how many seats I’ll be or something. I think I get an extra long glance for being alone, but if that makes you feel weird, just put your jacket over the seat next to you like you’re meeting someone in there or someone is in the bathroom or getting popcorn.

It’s really no big deal at all. It will actually probably make you feel good for being so independent.
