How do you deal peacefully with Narcissistic relatives?

Now I can’t blame them for how they’d turned out but I certainly need OUT and away from being in or under their radar. I don’t want to be an object or subject to being the source of their Narcissistic Supply. I don’t have the energy, this is clearly my life and if I get stopped or caught up in them it’s often always the same draining result.
How can I remain close or on good terms with them while maintaining my separate identity? They’re either being very clingy or detached. Often drama.

    Just tell them what they want to hear and avoid them as much as possible.

    I give thanks regularly that our nearest relatives are 750 miles away. Sure I miss the support system but I do not miss the drama. Conider relocation
