How can you have 2 positive pregnancy tests and then a negative?
I took 2 tests yesterday both w/ really faint lines showing pregnant. Then this morning I took the 3rd and no line. I don’t understand why I would take to half way through the day and it be positive and then one this morning w/ the higher hCG levels it be negative.

All hpts have a different level of sensitivty for the hormone so the two that showed faint positive might be more sensitive a good brand to use is first response since it has the lowest sensativity you can buy from a normal store

if i where you i go get a blood test.. but there is no false positives… only false negatives are false

Were the three tests all the same brand? If not, they may have different sensitivity levels. Also, it’s possible maybe your urine was more concentrated yesterday when you took the tests. Regardless a positive is a positive, as long as the line develops within the time limit. I would wait another day or two and take another test.

If you have taken test before your period was due wait until then. also if you can afford to get a digital one then get one of those as they tell you yes or no for sure. good luck x

It could b possible that your hCG levels have dropped a little or ur using a different brand of pregnancy test! Also this early on in a pregnancy some women misscarry without even knowing they were pregnant and only women who are trying for a baby know this from testing earlier then a missed period… But i really hope its not that!
All u can do unfortuantly is wait a couple more days & test again and im sure ull get ur clear possitive 🙂
But like the girls have said u can only get false negative and not false possitives!

I would still go to the doctor and get a blood test done and see what the doctor tells you

true there are no false positives, except in the condition that you were pregnant and miscarried. Then the last test could be accurately negative as your hCG levels drop, however this DEFINITELY doesn’t mean that happened. Just go to the doctor and see if you are pregnant and if you are take your vitamins, try to relax, etc, and if you aren’t keep trying (unless you didn’t want to be pregnat), in which case if you aren’t take the scare as a warning and be more careful.
