Have any women picked out their own valentines day gift?
My husband isn’t the greatest with gifts BUT he’s good with planning dinner and other romantic stuff. He likes me to pick out my gift…is that bad, strange, etc? Anybody else do it?

I would just say “Oh just spending time with you is enough”. Valentine’s isn’t really a traditional gift occasion, but if it is a tradition in your house, you can just say (and mean) that you will love anything he gives you because it’s from him.

i have for the last three years, it’s not that special when you do though, but oh well. if you don’t want to pick it out yourself, why don’t you make a list of things that would be nice on valentines day then give it to him.. it will still be a surprise because you won’t know what he’ll get you off that list.
