Does the state of California help you out if you adopt kids or become a foster parent? If so in what ways?

I am planning to adopt or become a foster parent…..I like kids and want at least two. My question is If i become a foster parent is there any help from the government to me? I live in the state of California and I am a single man.

Here are two websites that’ll answer your questions:
    http://www.childsworld.ca.gov/FosterPare_350.htm
    http://www.kinshipcenter.org/

    From the first website
A license is required to operate a foster home. The process requires a licensing worker to visit your home and meet with you and other family members. Minimum personal, safety and space requirements are required by law. Foster parents work with social services staff to determine the type of child best suited for their home

Foster parents receive a monthly payment to feed, clothe and meet the material needs of the children placed in their care.
Medical and dental coverage is provided through the Medi-Cal program.

yes they do help with a fund called fedral adoption assestance we adopted our daughter and pay 100.00 for finguer printing ant that was it.She also gets a check foe 1804.00 every month for her support.Adopting from foster care is wonderful it gives people who want to be parents a child to love and care for who outherwise couldnt adopt due to the high cost of adoption. We can afford to support our daughter but couldnt afford 30,000 in adoption fees.she also has full medical payed for.Califorina is very easy to adopt the counclers even came right to our house to fill out the papers.
