I can’t say I ever ‘expected’ something on Valentine’s Day. I’m not big on candy or flowers, I guess that’s why I never wanted to get them.
After a few years of Whitman samplers, hubby has finally figured out that a sweatshirt is appreciated more. He still buys the sampler because old habits die hard (He always gets a box for his mom too). I end up throwing most of the candy away…..but not the sweatshirt!

i’m a huge fan of candy any day of the week. can we say addict? but i can definately say it would be nice to get flowers once in my life from a guy that weren’t because he cheated on me. I’ve never had a valentines day, (had bf’s, even a husband on said day..but their idea of valentines day is to tell me they thought of getting me something but thought better of it) anyways yes all girls want a card or flowers…and this year i am soooo getting the candy at least lol!!! (i found my mary poppins, practically perfect in every way!!!)
