Nothing like waiting until the last minute!
I’m sure someone else will suggest “an engagement ring” but you must not be ready for that. Therefore, I would suggest a nice necklace or bracelet – something that comes in a different shaped box than a ring so that she doesn’t get the wrong idea.
Or skip jewelry altogether and get her a day of pampering at a spa. Or tickets to an upcoming play, concert or sporting event… And definitely flowers would be nice, along with the Valentine card itself!
