11 weeks pregnant, cramps in legs and embarssing vaginal smell?

Hi…I am 11 weeks pregnant. I get cramps in my legs sometime, specially at night time. Wondering is it normal? Secondly, I get vaginal stinky smell like periods. I change my underpant two times a day to avoid it, but its still there. I don’t have UTI or anything. Sorry for the grose question. But I am little concerned. Thank you.

These are all completely normal. I know I couldn’t stand opening my legs at times because of the smell (haha). My suggestion for that is to wear unscented maxi pads (the really small ones, for leaks) and change them frequently to help the smell from sticking around.

I never had leg cramps til pregnancy and I had no idea it was a pregnancy “side effect.” I remember waking up in the morning, moving my leg just a little and all of sudden having the WORST cramp in my leg. I wanted to cry. The only thing you can do is to massage it out, stretch out your toes, and get through it. It usually doesn’t last long, but is pretty normal.

the leg cramps..totally normal. The vaginal smell COULD be nothing, but it also could be a UTI or another infection. Do yourself a favor and get it checked out! Pregnancy is no time to mess around with things like that.

Bummer .. the smell is normal .. sorry. It bothered me like mad ! Try having a soak in that area in salt and warm water. A little Chamomile will help too.

The cramps are also normal, but I would suggest that you ask your doctor about a potassium deficiency .. it’s possible that you are lacking potassium.

All normal. To relieve the leg cramps stretch your calf and point your toes like your a ballerina en pointe(?) until it alleviates. That is the only thing that helped mine.

The smell is from hormones. I was worried about it my last pregnancy and the Doctor assured me that a musky smell is normal and a result of all those wonderful pregnancy hormones! Using pantyliners and changing them frequently and maintaining good hygiene down there is all you can do. Just don’t douche…. Take Care.
